Curfew Extended in Punjab: The Punjab government has extended the lockdown till May 1 due to the increasing cases in Punjab. There is already a lockdown till April 14 all over India.

Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, in a meeting with the leaders of the opposition party, indicated that the lockdown could be carried forward.

Because the country is still dealing with an emergency.

New cases of corona virus are increasing in Punjab, due to which the number of corona virus in Punjab has reached 151. Meanwhile, the death toll due to the virus has risen to 11 and 18 people have recovered and returned to their homes.

There are still 120 corona virus cases active in Punjab. Keeping in mind the increasing number of corona virus patients, the Punjab government has decided to increase the lockdown, now curfew has been extended to 16 days till 1 May in Punjab.
